Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using EMBRS, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use EMBRS. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, misleading or infringing content.
• Do not use the app to harass, impersonate or exploit other users.
• Do not attempt to bypass paid features or resell access to the service.

4. Health disclaimer

EMBRS is a training and nutrition logging tool, not medical advice. Strength training, dieting and interpretations of AI-generated suggestions carry risk of injury or health impact. Consult a qualified doctor, dietitian or coach before starting a new program, especially if you have a medical condition. You train and eat at your own risk.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

EMBRS offers a free tier and a paid Premium plan. Premium currently costs $5.99 USD / month (an auto-renewing subscription with a 1 month period; local prices and currency may vary by store) and unlocks smart progression, Strength Cycles, the AI assistant, diet plans, Body Progress (weight trend, measurements and progress photos), themes, fonts, layouts, custom gyms and exercise variants. Prices, features and AI credit limits may change with notice inside the app.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time; access to Premium features remains until the end of the current period.
• In the iOS and Android apps, Premium is purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, and is managed and cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account.
• Billing, renewal and refund terms follow the store (Apple App Store, Google Play or web checkout) that processed your purchase.
• AI credits included in Premium reset monthly and do not roll over.

6. AI features

AI-generated workouts, food estimates, recipe parsing and other AI outputs are provided for convenience and can be incorrect. Verify any values that matter to your training or diet before relying on them.

AI features are provided without any guarantee of complete accuracy. You are responsible for verifying important information. Credits are charged when an AI request is initiated. In rare technical failures, an AI request may fail even though credits have already been consumed.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the workouts, nutrition data, photos and messages you enter. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content solely so we can provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share it with.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the service or other users at risk. On termination, your access ends and your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Warranty and liability

EMBRS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for loss of data, profits, health outcomes or training results, arising out of your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new Terms.
